Last week we had lots of fun measuring all sorts of things, from each other to tables and everything in between! As well as using standard units of measure such as centimetres, we used non-standard units including cubes, hands and feet. We decided that it is usually best to use standard units so that you can compare objects (or people!). We enjoyed measuring each other and then tested the accuracy of our measurements by ordering ourselves and seeing whether we were in the same order as the chart. We discovered that we hadn’t got it quite right!
